Safety Trainings with Narberth Ambulance
Purpose: To protect the safety of both students and employees by learning proper life saving techniques as instructed by the American Heart Association in CPR and AED utilization. Trainings can be held at your location or on site at Narberth Ambulance Main Station.

Family and Friends CPR Course
Costs: $30 4-25 students
Course Description- The CPR Course teaches the basic techniques of CPR. Students also learn about using barrier devices in CPR with hands on training in administering CPR. This class is knowledge based and does not provide a CPR certification card.
Course Length: 1 hour
Intended Audience- Any lay persons seeking to acquire CPR skills in an instructor led course who do not need certification.
HeartSaver AED Course
Costs: 4-9 students $74.00, 9+ Students $69.00
Course Description- The HeartSaver AED Course teaches the basic techniques of adult CPR and how to use an AED. Students also learn about using barrier devices in CPR and giving first aid for choking. The course teaches how to recognize the signs of both cardiac arrest and foreign-body airway obstruction. Students are provided with an instruction booklet and upon successful completion, a two-year certification card.
Course Length: 2 hours
Intended Audience- All lay responders, such as firefighters, police, airline personnel, security guards, employees in the workplace, family members of patients at high risk for sudden cardiac death, other lay rescuers, and those who may have a need to respond to a cardiac emergency
HeartSaver AED with First Aid Course
Costs: 4-9 students $99.00, 9+ Students $89.00
Course Description -Same as noted above plus: HeartSaver First Aid is a classroom; video-assisted, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. Students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies. Course includes student manual, certification card, hands-on practice with Feedback devices and training AED’s to simulate an actual event. Multiple classes may be scheduled on a successive basis on the same day or other days.
Course Length: 2 CPR +2 additional hours – total (4 hours)
